Originally built as the first Odeon cinema in Lincoln the 25,000 Sq. Ft building was converted into a SuperBowl bowling alley with the Odeon moved to its new premises on the Brayford in 1995.
The former bowling alley was then sold to private investors when the company went into administration. Stirlin Developments appointed UDCS demolition to carry out the Demolition and crushing works of industrial buildings to make way for a temporary Park and Stride car park until planning is gained for further development. The works included asbestos removal, soft stripping, Demolition, removal of slabs, foundations and surrounding tarmac car park as well as on site crushing. All crushed material was re-used for the base of the new car park or on local building projects.
The project was carried out next to the busy Valentine retail park in Lincoln and access to the site was shared by regular HGV deliveries to the rear of the retail park and was carried out successful yon time and to the satisfaction of the Clients.
